Mila Filatova
Born in Siberia amongst bears, Mila Filatova was able to witness firsthand the mating rituals of wild animals. She saw how little we know about the private lives of bears.
The idea for Bears Behaving Bad came to her after an incidental psychedelic trip. The image of cute bears having sex popped into her head. She got an urge to run home and sketch, picking up a paintbrush for the first time in her life (please be impressed).
Mila has also tried to paint foxes and bunnies, but found their secret sex life not so secret, and not so sexy, so she decided to go back to her roots: bears.
She lives in NYC with her partner and their two beautiful plants. Her goal is to have an exhibit at the Louvre. Until then, you can find her on Instagram @bearsbehavingbad.
